What is KICK's?
KICK’s stands for Kids In Creative "Kare." KICK's is an alternative to traditional day care. KICKs will pick up your children from any Hendersonville School, and transport them to The Master's. Once we are back in the Gym, KICKs Kids have homework time, snack time, and supervised playtime in the gym, on our 50-foot trampoline and right out back. KICKs employees can tailor your child’s day to your specifications. We can set them in our quiet homework room to do a portion or all of their homework prior to playing in the gym or they can get in some fun exercise after sitting all day at school. Best of all KICKs offers flexible plan for parents and a great fun place for children to learn and grow in a friendly Christian based environment.
What are the grades that can participate in the KICKs Program?
Children in Kindergarten through 6th grade can participate in KICKs.
What security measures will you take in regards to my child being picked up?
When registering your child, there will be an area on the form to designate who can pick up your child. If someone arrives to pick up your child that is not on the list, they WILL NOT be allowed access to your child. If you want someone who is not on your list to pick up your child, you must add that person to your approved pick up list IN PERSON. There will be NO EXCEPTIONS to this policy.
Will I be allowed to have my child drop out from time to time without penalty?
Unfortunately, no. We only have a limited number of spots in the KICK’s program. If your child misses a day, you will still be billed for that day, regardless of the situation. KICK’s does require a 30-day written notice to withdraw from the after school program. We do give each child vacation days that can be used for scheduled absences such as a family vacation. To use these vacation days, you must give a 30 day written notice to the office.
Can Kick's pick up my child from school just for classes?
Yes, KICK’s will pick up from any Hendersonville school and drop off at The Master’s for $5. The child will need to go straight to class. There is no care provided by KICK’s.
What is the cost for KICK's during the school year?
There is a $30 annual registration fee for all family’s enrolling in KICK’s, it is due upon submitting your registration form and each August after that. The tuition for KICK’s will be as follows:
Weekly after school (K-6th ): $60 First child / $55 Second Child Daily after school (K-6th): $15 per child – per day
All day care for non school days is additional $12 per child per day. KICKs will be open on these days from 7am to 6pm and lunch is provided.
Transportation to gym from school: $5 No care is provided by KICK’s. (KICKs prices are subject to change.)
What school schedule will KICKs follow?
KICKs will follow the Summer County school system schedule, including snow days. KICKs will pick up your children from any Hendersonville School every school day and bring them to they gym. For scheduled or unscheduled breaks from school (Christmas Break, snow days, summer vacation, etc.) KICKs will be open from 7am to 6pm.
If school is closed early due to snow, KICK’s will do everything safely possible to pick up your children at school, but if we feel it is unsafe to drive to the schools you will be responsible to get your children to the gym where a KICKs employee will be on hand.
What about Summer Care?
KICKs will run in an all-day capacity during the summer school break. The times will be from 7:00am to 6:00pm whenever school is out. In addition to the numerous choices your child will have during the summer program, they will from time-to-time take field trips to educational and fun places around town. Basically KICKs is a 52-week per year program for your child’s needs.
